Founded by Tony Wessley, Fortress Security & Alarms began with strong roots in Kansas City and has grown into a trusted security and technology provider serving the Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding Missouri communities.
Our Foundation
Fortress Security & Alarms was built on a foundation of technical expertise, large-scale systems experience, and long-term reliability.
Founded by Tony Wessley, Fortress began with deep roots in Kansas City, where Tony entered the communications and security industry at age 18. Working within the Southwestern Bell and AT&T / RITE Communications network, he played a key role in designing and deploying complex phone and communications systems across multi-unit commercial properties throughout Missouri and Kansas. His work included custom system installations, copper and fiber splicing, and overseeing multiple active job sites.
In 2004, Fortress expanded its footprint to the Lake of the Ozarks while maintaining ongoing contracting relationships in Kansas City. As technology and infrastructure needs evolved, Fortress broadened its services to support large-scale electrical and low-voltage projects across the region, including work at Fort Leonard Wood Military Base.
Today, Fortress Security & Alarms delivers comprehensive security and technology solutions across Missouri, specializing in alarm systems, professional monitoring, security cameras, low-voltage communications, networking, home audio, WiFi infrastructure, access control, and integrated automation systems.
Our focus has never been on volume. It has always been on precision, reliability, and systems that perform when it matters most.
Expanding Capabilities & Services
As technology and infrastructure demands evolved, Fortress Security & Alarms expanded its capabilities to meet more complex system requirements across Missouri.
Beginning around 2009, Fortress broadened its scope to include advanced electrical and low-voltage work throughout the Lake of the Ozarks region, including projects at Fort Leonard Wood Military Base. This expansion allowed Fortress to deliver fully integrated solutions rather than isolated systems.
Today, Fortress provides a wide range of professional security and technology services, including alarm systems, 24/7 monitoring, security cameras, low-voltage communications, networking, home audio, TV installation, WiFi infrastructure, lift-fail sensors, and customized automation solutions.
